Well, I took a bit of a hiatus from reading during the beginning of November, but I found a good book to get back into the swing of things. In One Fat Summer, Bobby Marks hates summer—the hot weather especially. He hates that people go around without many clothes as it makes him more aware and self-conscious of his weight. When his friend abandons him at Rumson Lake, Bobby decides to take the job offered by Dr. Kahn, even if it pays half of what he had hoped. Over the summer, Bobby loses weight from the work as well as some of his timidity, so much so that he is able to stand up to the lake bully who's been bothering him all summer.
