Hello!
I teach 7th and 9th grade English as well as World Literature. I coach cross country and track & field for the Mille Lacs Raiders. The 23-24 school year will be my fourth year at Isle High School.
I grew up in Kettle River, Minnesota but attended Barnum Public Schools for elementary and high school. In May 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Secondary Education from The College of Saint Scholastica (CSS) in Duluth, Minnesota.
As an English teacher, I love to read. My favorite books in elementary and high school were centered around animals, mysteries, and the Old West. As I have grown up, I found that mysteries and realistic fiction are my "go-to" genres. When I need a break from reading, I like to try new crafts, do jigsaw puzzles, and bake delicious desserts. When I can get outside, I go for hikes with Radar.
