This was a bleak, but sadly achievable dystopian-esk story revolving around the environment. I liked how Sterling interwove the perspectives within the book as some surprised me by the end and others just fell into place in my mind. The storyline might have hit a little close to home with increasing extreme weather and the middle of the frozen North becoming the desired location besides the artificial Floating City.

This is one of the few sci-fi books I've actually liked. Maybe it spent a bit more time on world building than I would like, but with the premise of schisming and such, it was necessary. The draw on Arthurian legend was loose but still there, so that was cool to see. I have to say, I liked Dixon's other book Entwined a lot more, but that's personal preference.
